It's a Wonderful World...

My first shoot of the year took place on the same day as the year's worst blizzard.  My husband's cousin was getting married on the "most romantic day of the year", Valentine's Day.  The girls prepared themselves in the city, but the guys were out on the farm near Prud'homme, and the photographer of the day couldn't be in two places at once.  I was privileged to take photos of the groom and his groomsmen preparing for the big day.  (not going to lie, when I arrived they were all in sweatpants and t-shirts, playing an intense game of ping-pong)  The weather outside was declining in the worst way very rapidly but these guys weren't in the least bit concerned.  The mother of the bride was pacing a new hole in her stockings though.  Ahahaha!  Such is the dynamics of weddings and their parties.

The groom and his men were ready to go, within an hour, and I was happy to get a few great shots of them in the process.  I particularly loved the beer mugs.  And the beautiful connection between mother and son.

Congratulations Stephan & Kelly!  Despite the horrible blizzard, it turned out to be the most beautiful wedding!  Thank you for sharing your day!
